Vicious eyes, ferocious smile, and an a*s that begged to be rubbed all night, like Buddha promising good luck. But, what that a*s brought, was jail, soup lines, and homeless shelters.
The heart pounds the head, then the feet pound the street; walking mile after mile, aimless roaming, doe eyed thinking

Sometimes we just do not get what we want, “ that A*s”…. We all suffer “ when the heart pounds the head”….. and our behavior becomes funky…even though the jail part is a sad situation, you still create some humor in this poem; love your writing…..

which head is doing our thinking - careful where it leads, even a sliver of a piece has a price. not the first man to be led astray and won''t be the last. real and relatable and creatively told. soberingly, good "stuff".
