On a day that was fraught with anxiety and anger, I sailed on to the other side. The two pens that blew up in my hand foreshadowed the prolific writing streak to come. Six poems today, a personal best. Bukowski would be proud. He might even wonder How I did it without w****s booze and cigarettes.

Six in a day is a monumental achievement, Thomas. It illustrates your depth of concentration and dedication to the craft. Indeed, you are very lucky that you never had the distractions of a bevy of beauties or otherwise, I dare say, you wouldn’t have written anything! Congratulations on the poem and the successful outcome. I hope you are happy with the quality that was produced.

Sometimes all we need is to let go of the distractions and let the pen flow. I enjoyed the line about exploding pens. It’s a great visualization of what was to come.
By constantly writing with concentration on certain things you were able to write those six poems; creativity and inspiration come hand in hand. Now you can rest on the 7th.
Awesome!
