THIS DAY

THIS DAY

A Poem by thomas_irving
"

If you had the Devil within your grasp what would you do with him?

"
This day is the day that a Demon will fall;
You will hear this Demon bellow and curse you all.
For what he says will put fear in your soul;
If he were to die, your unrelenting pain will be ice cold.
The City people had caught this Demon as he changed shape;
From a simple man, to a huge monstrous 4,000 pound ape.
From as huge as an elephant, and as small as a flea;
This was the day the Demon fell down on one knee.
They shacked him in chains and in bail en wire;
And poured gas on this Demon and set him on fire.
Nothing they did could kill his massive frame;
For he is a Demon from Hell's Fire Domain.
Nothing they did could destroy this Demon and so;
In the end on this day, they let the Demon go.
