The Terror Dome

The Terror Dome

A Poem by thomas_irving
"

I was thinking of the movie "Mad Max Beyond ThunderDome" when I made this poem.

"
The Terror Dome is a place you don't want to be;
For this is a place where there is no mercy.
You fight to survive each and every night;
Do what you have to do or die by early morning's light.
There is no mercy shown, and no mercy is given;
If you survive through the night, you might be one of the living.
It won't matter if you are right or if you are wrong;
You fight to survive and to show who is strong.
Fast, swift and quick you know you have to be;
And within The Terror Dome there is no place to flee.
You either face your Challenger or you die;
Never will you rise again, and that's the reason why.

Hmm, interesting. Nice rhymes. You could well craft a story out of this theme. Well done!

This was really good. It was an interesting read. It really reminded me of gladiaotrial combat and, of course, the ThunderDome.
