What we need is another Vietnam.Or another John Lennon.

Our generation seems to be lacking in passion, And really just when we need it most. In America our capitalist system is failing us and the captains of industry that it produced are exposed everyday to be criminals. Inside of the vatican church officials oppose the research to finding a cure for the sexually transmitted disease HPV (Which causes five thousand women to die each year from cervical cancer) because it would "encourage teens to partake in sexual activity. This alone should be a massive sign that our current leaders do not have the best interests at heart for the people. But even more so is shown by the way the rich and powerful live in a world of luxury and decadence while the men and women who work day and night to create the things that we use in everyday life live in tiny houses with five or six other people. We are the proletariat!
In a sea of Sean Hannity clones we must rise up!
stand up and say no more!
¡viva la revolution

Great piece, I can agree with the capitalist system failing us, as these last few years have been to happy to point out. Our culture (or at least my culture, I'm not sure where everyone else is from) is trying to sell us on get rich quick schemes. The media shows us how the privileged live, and the banks and credit cards tell us we can live like that to. We're the generation that is trying to separate our decisions from their consequences. We alternately try to speed ahead our lives and careers, but when the bill comes we pass our debt over our heads.

well at least someone thinks close to what i feel. i agree, the problem with capitalism is that it puts every man on his own and for himself. it is rare to find an industry that produces something for the complete benefit of someone else, Most of these industries and magnates give the people products or services to earn something for themselves. Yet i don't believe there's any political system that works prefectly, i guess that after all we are all in our own. sad but true!
