lovely roses

A Story by Thomas Pynk
"

the title is a bit misleading just to let you know. it's very short too.

"

i was once asked why i never kept a relationship for very long.when the man who asked me this (ironicly enough he was a fat ugly man himself) hovered over me for several minute in silence, it was obvius he was either too scared to leave or did not know me well enough to be, and was still waiting for an answer. now i kept loading the clip unintrested and having no intention to give the fat man a real reason i simply decided to spit up some nonsense from a book i had once read.

"because, my fat friend," i think i said this last bit with a kind of sneer," as one poet put it"

"love is fleeting,

like a rose

it will never stay

when the summer goes."

this conversation was shortly followed by a gun-shot, a seires of curses, three more bullets flying overhead, the biggest fist i have ever seen come crashing into my face, and the peice de resistance, the roadkill that was once a very, very fat and dumb man.

Very short, mean, but truthful in some ways.
