Maze

Maze

A Poem by Thomas Kainaroi

Endless hallways,
And duplications,
Abound in the maze.

“Excuse me, sir.”

“Excuse me.”

“Excuse.”

A minotaur's ghost
Floods the all too bright,
Smile filled
Mask.

What are you asking for?
You take nothing.

We'll dream ourselves
In other places,
Especially in that corner,
Where no one goes.

I won't ask
If there's a way out.
Existence will provide the riddle
In these twisting, aimless catacombs.
