Memories in the WindA Poem by Thomas Kainaroi
Memories in the wind.
They are so silent. But if you listen closely, You can hear them. Angels singing in the distance, I can not discern the words, So I must fly, Beyond the walls of glass. Walking on and on, In a gray world. I see lights dancing amidst the shadows. Please speak to me. Drifting on the ocean, I feel so alone. But when I look past the surface, I see mermaids. Where these waters will take me, I do not know. But I am going somewhere, In the darkness and the light. 3-19-07 © 2013 Thomas KainaroiReviews
