My First One

My First One

A Poem by JorMill
"

I'm in much need for some self-expression, I painted a picture and now I'm writing a short poem.

"
Where do I start?
It'll come to me, I'm sure.
There are so many things I want to say
but now I can't think straight.
I don't want to educate or persuade,
I want to share my thoughts and hopefully help others to find their ways of expression.
Life is so unbelievably unbelievable,
and people actually think they have it "figured out".
Is this my calling? Is this what I was meant to do?
Don't worry about it and just enjoy yourself,
 whatever that may be.
We were all given such an amazing gift and that is life itself.
Think about where you are
and how many blessings you actually have.
If you just live everyday in a way that makes you content and reflects positivity,
you'll only find yourself in happiness.
No matter what.

Just as Eva has said, I can relate wtih your feelings. Deep stuff there...

I like this, the message is strong and something everyone should understand...and by that I mean, they need to. The only suggestion I would make is lose the periods. Other punctuation is fine, but periods stop when maybe they shouldn't. Just my opinion.
