Double-SidedA Poem by Emily In Disguisemy life is split in two one path my smart side is expressed The other my freak flag flies in the day with floor length skirts and my hair in a tight bun. I answer every question prim and proper. by night my tight blue jeans are flaunted my hair falls down to my shoulders I feel free I am a diva, true to heart as the neon lights flash, I strut my stuff on stage but during the day I repress my diva day to night the same tranformation will it ever change will I ever let my true side show to be or not to be will that always be the question? © 2008 Emily In DisguiseReviews
