Power

Power

A Poem by Jose Camacho

I'll break your psyche
Just to keep you far--
To keep you from your sanity.
I'll make your world collapse.

A mother at dawn
Will call upon her mortal child.
By then the lifeless face
From his soul shall be exiled.

I'll break your mind
To keep you from yourself.
My thoughts shall soon barrage your bones
And your mother then will cleanse my tongue.

I've spoken far too much
We've never felt so real.
I've spoken far too much
The end is always real.

They'll break our hearts
To keep us far from men.
No mortal child
Can cleanse thy mothers sinful tongue.

You'll split my thoughts
To make your words more clear,
We've sang so loud in sin and joy
And my faith will die in fear.

I've spoken far too much
We've never felt so real.
My thoughts will then reveal your end
Before your soul has lost its pride.
