The Graduation SongA Poem by Sarah MarieGraduation is just a few weeks away! ---a series of haikus to celebrate.Graduation
sings Its
bipolar song, earning Seniors’
smiles and tears;
The
real world beckons: The
grim reaper’s in a suit" So
begins the end
Of
small dorm-room days And
long library nights spent Studying
for this.
So
we see the light, Dressed
in black robes and white strings" Tomorrow
begins. © 2017 Sarah Marie |
