When It ComesA Poem by Sarah Marie
Nothing can be done
When love comes; Nothing at all matters When one another flatters The tugs on the heartstrings, The notes of joy one sings When love is found And spread all around. The quickening heartbeats Making man and woman weak Are dangerous things; Are wonderful things; When eyes are captured- What sweet, merciless rapture. The downward drag of a kiss- Such captivating, sudden bliss. When love comes Nothing can be done- Why would anything want to be? Why even attempt to breathe Without love in each sigh- Why ever tell it goodbye? © 2012 Sarah MarieReviews
