I Love You

I Love You

A Poem by Sarah Marie

Love me to the end,

And love me over and over again-

Make me hate all other men

For they could never compare,

For I adore the way you tug on my hair

And tell me that you care

About my littlest sorrows and strife-

No other man could so complete my life-

Oh, how I want to be your wife!

Sneak your hands beneath my knees,

Spin me around as quickly as you please

And say again how you love me.

Look me in the eyes

And make me laugh when I cry

Or else I will surely die.

Share with me your smallest fears,

Whisper nonsense in my ears

And always call me your dear.

Steal my breath with your caress,

Make my heart leap from my chest,

And always kiss me goodnight lest

I wake to find you out of the bed,

Questions and worry filling my head

Until you make my face grow red

In response to your dragging lips

And playful fingertips.

I crave your kiss and adore the tip

Of your narrow and freckled nose,

Need your blush, colored as a rose,

To make me forgot my woes-

Make me forgot all but you.

Your heart so true and wanting to woo-

How I told you lately

How greatly I love you?
