What A Funny Farm the Media IsA Poem by Prometheusmainly venting.
Newscasters? No. I see cowards,
Cloaked in clergy robes with heavy golden crosses, Swinging from their hanging heads. They strut their stinking guts like slaughtered swine, Guts from which you feed From which they bleed LIES, LIES, AND ONLY LIES. AND! you devour them, hungrily, Desperate for a satisfaction you know you’ll never reach, And their insides poison yours And poison you And poison you So you vomit any nourishment you had And down your throat and through your veins Runs the muck they’ve fed you, Runs the gunk the farmers bred for you. And who’s to blame? US, Because we didn’t turn the switch On these cold and calculated crude machines, These pigs, These farmers, This whole f*****g farm, And it’s OUR fault That it’s amassed Such a giant population. © 2010 PrometheusAuthor's Note
