Heartbroken Valentine

Valentine's Day is the one day a year,
Where we confess how much we love another.
Getting flowers; making sure each one contrasts to Perfection,
Little boxes of chocolates; the taste of sweet desire,
The tiniest detail meaning everything to the one we care for.

Wether its grand or the smallest gains of thy heart,
By this 'act of affection' they are in Awe
Overwhelmed by what we tend to do for them every minute of our lives
Little do they know their very essence means everything

Can't she see the pain?
Does she know its torturing me
As I toss and turn each night
After all the moments that flea into a blank space

Cracking of skin seeing the bleeding wounds
As thy lies against the stained floor
Crying blood tears
With thy heart beating in its 'rusted cage'
Wanting to be free

Wings black as night curled around me
Knowing I am not wanted by her
Yet still loving her to this day
Not a day goes by I don't think of you love.

Weeping from your existence; night by night
Remembering the times where you would talk
Whispering things into thy ear
Confidence then be reaching the highest point

Needing you as if I need air in thy lungs
Without you I am nothing
Every part of thy inner self lies within you love
The key is along a string against your neck
Open the lock seeing thy true intentions
For our life together

Only to be healed by presence
You and I are one seeing all that is possible
Within you lies the very heart of thy soul

Only with you...

Gazing into your eyes
Letting myself go beyond the door
Sit as images foil through
Back to a time where things were simple and pure
Now things have become complicated

Run into my arms
I will hold you until the agony ceases
Then we will be together
I am here for you
Always and Forever love.

I use to hate Valentines day to me it was the saddest day of the year no longer does that hold true.

Your poem was beautiful so full of love and desire and wanton need as if your poem was reaching out with open arms needs to be loved and lost within the arms of whom you so love
