Dream Girl

Dream Girl

A Poem by Writer *78*
"

About a dream I had twice one that to this day I cant stop visualizing the girl in it.

"
Dream I:

I drift off to sleep sometimes to have dreamt of you,
Sometimes my mind goes blank not having dreamed at all.

I've had this reaccuring dream happen to me twice now from whence it came I haven't a clue.
I raise my glass "cheers" to the tale that is about to be told called: my Dream Girl.

Drifting off to sleep only to think of you my 'true love,'
How you came within thy dream tis not I that knowest how,
I remember your bubbly face; how it made me smile,
Your black brunette hair; soft at first touch,
Those forest green eyes for when I gaze into them I get lost,
When I look into your eyes i see the depths of your soul:
Emotions intense hightened to the fullest extent,
Your thoughts ever flowing from your creative intellect,
Most of all, when I look into those eyes and get a glimpse of your inner being I see this:
Us laying in a field of wild flowers peering into eachothers soul,
Our hands interlocked never to separate; never to part once more,
You lean into kiss thy soft lips; something thy has a burning desire for,
I hold you close as we kiss and I feel whole once more.

Dream II:

You come twirling into thy thoughts again whilst I sleep.

How thou has done this no one knowest,
As if your mind is interlocked once again with mine,
Thy in a tuxedo; thine in an opaque white dress,
Your emerald eyes focus on thee,
How they touch the depths of thy soul,
Only to increase and thus intensify the love I have for you.

We look into eachother's eyes; I smile and lean in awaiting 'true loves' kiss,
You do the same; just as our lips near the taste of soft skin...

I awaken from the dream I so thought to be real.

Aftermath:

I haven't gone back to that dream for sometime now,
I don't know why. but know this thy love,
Dreams may come and go; night by night,
My love for thee is pure and true;
it will never faulter nor die because in the end,
Our love shines above all who don't believe,
True Love exists in this world.

Know that we will be together one day when time permits,
For now if this is the only way I can reach you thy love,
know that I will love you always and forever,
Till then I will await for your arrival.
I love you with every fiber and being in my soul.

Dream I had twice never could get away from it, shows how committed a person is when they truly love someone from a distance.

Nice description of your dream girl. I can't imagine it happens that a person in your dream is someone who caught you attention and you wanted it (the dream) to come true.
Nice work.

Sometimes repetitive pattern dreams reveal more about you than the subject(s) of the dream. Some underlying message.
You wrote this with such tenderness! Very beautiful read! I enjoyed immensely!:)
