![]() Fallen SnowA Poem by Writer *78*![]() How different people see the element of snow in this world![]()
As I look outside my window,
Seeing bits of fragmented snow on the deck, It dawns on me, Fallen snow, A world known to all, seen by all; but within the 'eye' experiences something entirely different. The elemental of 'fresh' white snow on a vastly larger scale: Children see that school is closed; playing all day in the snow. Adults see traffic, shoveling, possibly walking in it; it may come to mind 'not this again' Writers see imagination at work. Seeing snowman being built all across yards in the neighborhood, Someone living a cabin amongst the mountains, A Russian 'mushing' his sled of wolves onward. With the element of snow we all see things differently, which means anything in this world is possible.
