How did you do this to me?

From the viewpoint of meeting a person and getting to know them very well. In the aftermath of feeling deeply connected to them.

You are my angel within darkness,

Guiding my way; loving me,

You are my everything.

When I think of you,

The pain that's deep within my soul ceases to exist.

You are standing there within my grasp,

I wait for you; your embrace,

You stride toward me and wrap your arms around my neck,

There we are together at long last.
