Mother Earth and Father TimeA Poem by BeetleBugSestinaIn the dawn of the spring A chill will blow through the sky Waves of wind will hit the sea And calm will come in the fall No one sees this but you Until I take a look through your eyes And in those earth bound eyes I find bright colors of the spring How lovely it is to see you Your face as wide as the sky I hope it shall never fall Deep, deep beneath the sea At the bottom of the sea You see the fish with eyes Of dull colors from the fall But life alive as in the spring And vast shades of blue from the sky No one can see this but you Some may not believe you That you made this vast sea And the birds in the sky Some may not believe their eyes Even though there is light in spring And a glow in the fall I will see all shades of you I will see you in the spring I will see you in the sea I will look into the sky I will see your majestic eyes What will I find in the fall? What will I find in your eyes? What will I find in the spring? What will I find in the sea? Other than the majestic you From this will spring the sky And the deep sea will fall Only you have such eyes. © 2011 BeetleBug |
