Sounding NatureA Poem by Ioana GeorgianaSpring is the season of rebirth, Mother Nature emerges from her lair to take the reins of her kingdom, At dawn, tiny lazy birds chirp to announce the beginning of another day. Summer is a swift transition from the birds's serene chant , To the peaceful murmur of the waves crashing against the shore Seagulls quack persistently, disturbing, The silence that sets in along the sandy beaches. As autumn begins to take over, Strong winds tickle the tree branches mercilessly. The coat they have shed has become a rustling carpet, crackling, Under the weight of leather boots. Winter closes off this glorious rhapsody with grace, The sound of ice skate blades gliding along the smooth frozen surface of the pond, Bells jingle cheerfully indoors as if to announce the arrival of the holidays. Beauty is found in more than just what you can visualise, All you have to do is lean your ear and listen.
