Letter to a heartbreakerA Poem by Ioana GeorgianaI wish you knew, What I desire to do But I'm lacking the power, To give into you.
I need more than This simple conversation we have, Meaningless words get thrown around I need to feel.
I want to touch, The
damaged parts of But you close up, Just like an old wound.
I crave to taste, The sweetness of forbidden fruit On your intoxicating lips, So tempting, out of reach.
I dream of caressing, With these hands of mine Your tangled ebony strands But dreams are fantasy.
I cannot do this, Live forever through a lie I've tried to heal your soul, But you broke mine. © 2015 Ioana GeorgianaReviews
