Mother Nature

This poem is meant to inspire others to take a step to slow down pollution and global warming.

The earth is alive,

She nourishes her children day and night,

But today she weeps because of our destruction,

What she has worked tirelessly to make,

Is now what devastates her spirit,

Peaceful sleep is what she needs,  

Let her rest,

Painlessly,
