Invisible

Invisible

A Poem by Wildwood Fox

They  look but they do not see.
I am here, but only to me.
They look but to them I am hidden.
Even to those who love me most, nothing more than a stranger.
I am not seen, just looked at.
A spirit in the world of the living.
Darkness trapped in a world of light.
A cage of flesh and bone,
A key of paper and glass.
Passing me by in their bodies and worlds of light,
Glancing at me, my skin of shadow and world of darkness.
