Time

Time

A Poem by Wildwood Fox

Day by day.
Hour by hour.
Moment by moment,
Everything moves faster.
I am turtle, moving slow and steady.
Time is the hare, going swiftly and promptly by.
The world moves with it, trapped in its speedy motion.
I sit idly, watching everything pass me by.
Time moves to quickly for me I think
I'd be happier if it moved my way.
Slow and steady.
But it's stays in it's speed.
Swiftly and promptly.

Not bad. Don't forget that you don't have to cap every line - this would flow better if you took out pretty much every period in it. You have a good concept and you've expressed it well. Good use of imagery too. The 5th and 6th lines are the best ones.

I like how you've described time as 'the hare' who goes by in a hurry. It really is like that!
