No More Drones

Based on true events

A wedding day and virgin bride
Families beaming either side
The hum of hope within the air
A joyus day for all to share
Was DRONE ATTACKED for God knows why?
Hell fire missiles from the sky
Her wedding dress awash with blood
Though some survive not all withstood

The madness of a cruel regime
Deforming dreams to hellish screams
Joy and hope disintergrating
Only pain was celebrating
That wedding day neath Arab skies
As justice with the young bride dies
Her father with both hands on head
Cries "who's to blame for all this dread?"

Not the pimple faced assassin
Nintendo groomed amoral axeman
Pushing buttons under orders
From the spineless dog superiors
Who too, of course, are not to blame
The world not them is whose insane
'Weddings' are a national threat
To neutralize without regret !

Not skillful hands who built the bomb
Not brilliant minds who dreamt the drone
Not Bush who rallied for the war
Not Barry* smiling for some more
Not those who vote the b******s in
Not those who sit on hands and grin

Their fault it was to wed that day
For getting in the missiles way...










*Barry is in reference to Barry Soetoro which was Barrack Obama's name when he resided in Indonesia.

I love this poem!
surprised anyone survived though, the drones usually go back for a second hit shortly after to kill any survivors or rescue workers!

its a god damn disprace, that obama should return the noble peace prze, what a joke.only a psychopath could sign off on a drone strike and then go play a round of golf with a bog smile slapped across his face. but dont worry the drones will be flying over our heads soon enough to take out the domestic terrorists! its the military industrial complex gone wild ... thank you very much marcus for the many reads and reviews, very much appreciated.

Apparently they call it the 'double tap'. It does make me sick to think about. I think psychopathic is the best word to describe these people's behaviour. Obama is almost worse than Bush, just proves the whole system is a fraud (if you needed any more proof).
