All bestowed at birth

That without a weight

Companionship for life

Parroting your shape

Shy in front of light

Especially the sun

Only wants to hide

Until a day is done.

I wonder where he goes

When no longer in my sight?

I blow the candle out

Wishing her goodnight

I bet he goes to play

With others of his kind

Before the morning rays

Return him to my side.
