Drops

Drops

A Poem by Sam
"

A little poem.

"
I stand in the rain
In your Wait
On the window
Of a bookshop
A drop sits patiently
Waiting for the one above it
To fuse and continue
As One

The drop above stalls,
Turns, changes path
Mixes with another
The bottom drop evaporates
Slowly,still waiting.

Clouds part. I turn now
Evaporating in the young sun.

I like the emptiness and the silent pain that is reflected in this piece. Sometimes, our progression is thrown off course by the actions of others. However, never forget that each evaporated drop returns as rain once again in an endless cycle ☺
