DammedA Poem by Weeping WillowRandom PoemThree dragons fly over my head, As I look at an empty field, That seems almost dead, I close my eyes to use as a shield, The despair that fills my soul, Is almost as painful as my tired muscles, So I will be as empty as my grandmother’s doll, This world is of all kinds of puzzles, I look back and the town on fire, Tears fill my eyes as I hear their screams, A town brought to their knees by guns of hire, And now all those people can no longer live their dreams, I look to the sky once more, Only to see smoke from the burning town, I walked away from that with just a sore, It’d all my fall this town came down, But then again this always happens to mankind, I shouldn’t be surprised they kill each other, I just have to get those people out of my mind, For I am another races mother, And humans cannot even try to kill me, Even if they try my children will kill them, But I no long wish to see, Mankind dammed! © 2014 Weeping WillowAuthor's Note
