Chapter 4

Shippou needs help

As I fear for what the West street gang will do to me, I hear what seems to be a motorbike. When I look up I see the guy that was talking to Sphire, he’s running over them with his bike. He finally jumps off his bike and starts bashing the crap out of everyone, I slowly stand up as he punches the last guy.

“Who are you?” I ask trying to acted as if this is the first time I’ve seen him, he walks over to his bike

“No one special, know if you don’t mind I have to find someone.” He says picking up his bike, for some reason I have a feel I know him, or who he’s looking for

“Wait, thank- you………. Who are you looking for? I know a lot of people, so maybe I can tell you where this person is.” I say trying to get him off his bike, he smiles.

“Maybe you can help me, my name is Tanshin.” He says passing me a helmet, I walk over to the bike

“May I ask who you’re looking for?” I say getting ready to get on the bike,

“Well, she’s an old friend of mine and I haven’t seen her for ten years. But I’m 18 now, so I decide to come looking for her, all I know is that she lives in this town.” He say almost like he’s not telling me something, wait did he say his name was Tanshin. I smile,

“My name is Kah……..” I pause, what if he’s lying just to kidnap me.

“I’m sorry, but you have a weird name.” He says laughing; I hit him with the helmet

“That’s not my name,” I say,

“Than what is it?” he replies, still laughing

“My name is………… Kahime.” I finally get out; he stops laughing and stares at me. Then he finally gets off his bike and hugs me,

“I’ve finally found you, Kahime, my princess.” He says stilling hugging me, I grab my bag and hit him over the head.

“Who do you think you are? And don’t call me princess!” I say still hitting him with my bag,

“Owwwwwwwwwww, stop it, it’s me Tanshin.” I counties to hit him, “We need a knight, A knight in shining armour,”

“We need a knight, A knight that can slay the beast,” I sing as stop hitting him. 

A few days later and somehow he’s living in my house; Tanshin and dad seem to get along well which is good for both of them. I take walks regular, just to get away from them talking about cars and motorbikes. And today I decide to take a walk to the park, I always love the park, it a palace where no one can tell you to get lost or so I though.

As I walk through the park I see two guys, picking on what seems to be a half dead girl. I quickly run up to them and kick their asses, although one did hit me pretty hard. I turn around and see Shippou and I know that her dad did this; she falls to the ground and almost passes out. I decide to pick her up and take her to my place; she is so hurt she doesn’t even know it’s me. Her long hair is covered in her blood, she can barely even speak, but she manages to thank me.
