Chapter 1

The boy from Kanee

The land was peaceful once both humans and animals ruled, there were no clans and the humans and animals were friends but all things come to an end.

In a large meadow close to dawn a women about 18 year old stands not moving. Then an army of about 250,000 men come and attack the women, she looks at the army her white hair falling out of her pigtail. She attacks the army at in about 10 minutes everyone is dead the meadow filled with blood and dead bodies. Then the meadow starts to glow and the bodies disappear, the women sits in the middle of the meadow as her hair turns gold. When the sun rises a group of monks see her

“What are you doing covered in blood?” one asks

“Kill her she’s a monster,” yells another. All of them attack, but one monk

“I wouldn’t do that,” the woman says. She attacks and kills all the monks, but she spares the monk who didn’t try to kill her “You will live, but know this monk you may have been able to kill me yesterday, but now anyone who tries to kill me will end up like your friends. Warn the people not to attack the woman with gold hair.” She says walking off

“What are you?” the monk replies

“Just as your friends said, a monster.” She asks disappearing into the distance

1,000 years later

In the small town of Kanee a young man is trying to practise his reaper magic when a group of animals approach him

“That’s pretty good for a human.” One of the says, putting his hand other the reaper’s back.

“Hey,” say the reaper “What time is it?”

“Well about 5.30pm,” someone says

“Oh crap, got to go,” he replies picking up his stuff. He runs across the town and finally stops at a small town “Sorry I’m late father.”

“Don’t worry too much Hikage, where moving after all.” Answers his father

“Thanks father is everyone ready.” Hikage says as he puts his thing in a bag and gets into a wooden carriage.

A few days later

“Mother, don’t worry I will look after the house and Tsuki. I’m 19 and I can look after everything.” Hikage tells his mother

“Okay, but be careful and read Tsuki some stories.” His mother says leaving the house and getting into a carriage. Hikage goes into a room and theirs a little girl

“Okay Tsuki what story do you want to hear?” he says with a sigh

“I’m not a little girl, so I’ll tell the story.” She says getting out of her bed “It all starts 3,000 years ago”

“Good night, I don’t have time for stories,” Hikage says walking away

“You’re no fun,” Tsuki says getting back into bed. Theirs a knock at the door, Hikage lets a man about his age in.

“You ready.” He asks

“Sure, let’s start the spirit calling” Hikage answers
