Dr. Jekyll/Mr. HydeA Poem by theupsanddownsThe bi-polarities within oneself.
Dr. Jekyll never meets Mr. Hyde
When one is out the others always inside Then Dr. Jekyll, he gets to thinking... "What must I take to reach another dimension?!" They both live on the same little street It's amazing that the two never meet And Mr. Hyde, he's always running away from the problems people face everyday And it gets to be a bore! Now Dr. Jekyll, he can't clear his head It's usually filled with ideas he dreads How they got there, he can't understand Yet he acts upon them - what a crazy man! Hyde can't sleep at night, it seems nocturnal is in So he takes his pen out and his writing begins Then he zips that pack up that holds all his thoughts Fearing that without them his whole world would be lost! And it gets to be a bore! No, Dr. Jekyll never meets Mr. Hyde... © 2015 theupsanddowns |
