For Shame.

For Shame.

A Poem by theunionisloud

Seduction by literary device
lures the intellect of the beast within and
lurks outside him-- behind the scenes
abstracting the Now and the Self and
[freudian projection]

Metaphor and Analogy take action, prance in clever ploy;
and we highlight them and discuss them and we know what they're up to and we hate them and why beat around the bush when you can use a cliche but they're still our friends because we are civilized and cannot be
  moved by plot
without these
nasty
prudish
        characters

I used to believe in beating around the bush....but now I just sucker punch people.

Your inventiveness never ceases to amaze me and you have been greatly missed.
