Unsuspecting

Unsuspecting

A Poem by theunionisloud
"

Not my most creative, but this is where my mind has been lately...

"
East of here, West of There,
as high as one can be
Perched upon a fenceless ledge
overlooking an impossibly blue sea

I dabble in my senseless thoughts,
I sip a late night coffee
a breeze caresses the foliage
The wind howls softly

I cannot be the only one
To savor this esprit
For I have found the perfect place
where you will come and find me.

lol. I'm seeing songs tonight. "East of the Sun, West of the Moon" slow jazz standard. Your second stanza is a mirror image of my location.

Don't worry, you'll definitely be found.

simplicity is sometimes the best route! and this shows that!!! "a fenceless ledge" - clever!! the second stanza is my favourite though - the breeze caressing the foliage!! nice!!
