Gypsy

Gypsy

A Poem by theunionisloud

to rip herself of the walls which bind her very flesh
to warrant a frantic rummage of her shattered pieces
each with faults of lovers past,
   lovers invisible
Rough texture
jagged edges, jagged edges
Jagged
broken
edges
to find any fragment suitable for you
"I have what they don't, Let me
make
you a deal"
For you,
for You.
Please, take it.
to revert her shatters
to conceal herself anew,
pieces piled at the ankles of her empty
      fruitless being
Please, take something.
For a small installation fee
I will steal thy humble heart from thee
Please, take something.
Take anything.

An offer? A dare? A remorse?
interesting, usually it's the non-gypsy that asks the gypsy woman to please take something from them. that's the gypsy allure.

If the gypsy is shattered or fragmented then she wraps herself in layers of mystique, intrigue and beguiling seduction....

so this is an interesting, raw and intimate twist on an archetype.
Nice work.
