Grace

Grace

A Poem by theunionisloud

One ear is a gift
And I'm granted two.
A single voice breaks the silence,
And suddenly an entire choir,
Orchestra
intensifies.

Nothing passes perfectly,
But its enough to know that it could.

One friend is a gift,
And I'm granted you.

Good Friendships are great...which you beautifully portrayed in your poem. Excellent.

Resonates with joy that only a true friend can bring...And oozes the bliss that acknowledgement of such a friendship brings....Precious...Beautiful...

There is such a rich treasure found here... Thoughts that drift over those gifts we are granted in the joy of grace... and a friend, oh how a friend is the best gift of all... Beautiful...

Short and sweet.

I do like the premise of this poem and the last two lines. I'm not sure that I appreciate (on just a single reading) how the second stanza advances the theme - it seems a bit unrelated to the rest of the poem. Whatever, its might be better as it's. Great work on this and others I've looked at since Dinesh pointed me this way.
