My Lady Lazarus

My Lady Lazarus

A Poem by Lady Tyke
"

Was inspired by my favourite poet Silvia Plath and her poem Lady Lazarus mixed with her life.

"

My Lady Lazarus, how you make me cry!

Your words are my breath, the voice of my soul

Your deaths fingers clutching for my heart

Your letters chocking cries for a new life

My Lady Lazarus, your life was given back to you

Those few last pills to still your broken heart

Were spewn back up for a brand new start

Oh those heavy words so full of death

My Lady Lazarus, scream, sigh, cry your last breath.

Author's Note

Lady Tyke
I know spewn is not a real word, I apologise but it depicts what I mean.
