Not AngryA Poem by Lady TykeI’m not angry! Hot, white fire. A welding torch, Enough to sear, Enough to crackle and scream. I want to hear that pain pouring out. To suffer. To burn. I don’t hate. Cold, hard yes, hate no. Losing myself. A shattering roar of rage. Burning, freezing, breaking, destruction. All because of YOU! You make me feel. You bring the hidden out of me. That dangerous part that is kept safely away, That part I know destroys me, and you, and all around. Witness me! See. I will just split the ground, Tear the sky, No, I’m not angry, I smile, Sweet, kind, tender The fire tongues quenched by closed lips, A held breath. But I see that flinch in your eyes as you feel the stroke of my mind, That burning tendril of icy fire slipping around your thoughts, Through your thoughts, Ready to flay. © 2018 Lady TykeAuthor's Note
