A deer, hunted by a tiger, notices the danger in time, runs away in time, saves himself; when he looks behind, he evaluates: processes his victory, shakes off the tension, locks the tiger out of his mind. He is safe now. He moves on with his life.
Humans are different.
We never moved on. We never locked the tiger out of our minds. Black lines scarred our vision Left us in the half-dark Made us half-blind. We locked ourselves in and we shake the black bars And we shake the black bars And we shake the black bars And we
Take the tiger with us.
