Surrender

Surrender

A Story by The Spaniard
"

It moves, and that's all that matters to me.

"

Throw the white flag

Duck and cover

Hide till it's all past.

Dare to see

What you discover

I wanna make this last.

Change the sheets

Flip the covers

Prepare for a new cast

Blank your mind

It's just another

Crime you put to task.

Tingling at the base of my spine

My hands go numb.

My legs already there.

A thousand pin pricks

fill my head

I'm not alive...

but I'm hardly dead.

Good rhythm and good rhyme

It sounds as if you were trying to move on from a past relationship but just as you thought you were there the pain took hold of you again. My hands go numb, my legs already there. I like the concept.
