Everything's FineA Poem by The SpaniardA day in the life of a chemically imbalanced man
A lazy Saturday afternoon.
My hangover has passed,
My first beer has been cracked.
The rain has stopped
And the sun is coming out.
I move this to the deck,
Dip my feet into the pool.
It’s getting bright.
It’s getting Warm.
I’m basking while my pen keeps moving.
Stopping only briefly
From time to time to collect my thoughts.
The neighborhood kids are coming out to play
As the clouds grow at further distance.
I could waste the whole day out here
If I wanted to…
I want to.
Yes,
I sit here thinking to myself,
So why,
Do I feel like crying?
