Neophobia

Neophobia

A Poem by The Spaniard
"

fear of change

"

                So sick when I breathe

                    I expel this disease

Feeling like nothing can cure me.

And I hear all the wisdom,

Every side has a story,

I don’t know if I can believe them.

Nothing goes right,

 I’m too weak to fight,

I hate every inch of this plateau.

I’m helpless right now,

You don’t understand,

These things I just cannot control them.

Desperate am I,

To reach to the sky,

Where nothing will cut me forever.

For now…

I bleed,

Refusing to cry,

I’ve done far too much already.

The one thing that heals

Requires a penance,

Steep as the cliff from which I stand leaning over.

No more structure for this,

It’s become a mess,

Push me cause I lack the courage.

This sound like lyrics to a kick a*s song. I really the idea of this being held prisoner by yourself and the lack of courage. Have a world come crashing on top of you. But looking to escape be seeing the only way out may be death but fear what awaits. Very surreal and vivid.

Damn Good Showing!!!!!!
