Old Soul

Old Soul

A Poem by theshygirl

he is so young but yet his choice of words intrigue me

"
Old soul

You are so young but yet you say so many intrigueing words.
Searching for tranquility as you stare at the
Emptiness that you preferred

Thinking about such delightfull things
Thinking about things you shouldnot be thinking of.
Thinking of these things which keeps you from closing those sleepy eyes.

You say you're okay but your wave of sound has too many peaks
You are an old soul who knows pain and distress.
But you can't hide those sleepy eyes forever.
You are an old soul and age is just a number right.
It's alright so don't fight it
Call it a night.

I really love this poem!! It shows that people who are young can still be into old things without having to be old. It's a very well written poem!!

Hi! Another nice poem! It truly speaks about our ancient soul and the wisdom it possessed. I just noticed a typo, just a minute detail:

- '...many intrigueing words.' Should be - '...many INTRIGUING words.

Just a small error, however, you're doing great. :)
