Walking Across THe Multiverse

Walking Across THe Multiverse

A Poem by therisa

I am sitting here
While my mind
Slowly drifts
Across the multiverse
Looking for what
I do not know.

Perhaps
A warmer climate
Where a frigid winter
Is only found
Inside the history books
When snowbanks
Reach high into the sky.

Or experiencing
For the first time
The movement of my child
I am carrying to term
Which for now
Remains in the realm
Of science fiction.

Else something
Totally different
Which I do not have
The proper words
To accurately describe it
Beyond the feelings
In my heart.

Whatever it is
I know
My mind is
At peace with itself
Unlike the past.
