Hidden ValueA Chapter by therisaSpecial thanks to Venus and Squeak, for starting this, into motion.
I can feel your eyes
Staring at me Probing deeply Into my soul Searching for Some hidden truth Unknown to myself. As I feel My anxiety levels Starting to rise As my defenses dissolve Under your penetrating eyes Although I feel no malice In your intention. Rather Warmth and curiosity Brushing Rhythmically Against my body Attempting to ease My anxiety. Something unusual I have not experienced Before this day In my life A missing piece of myself Never realized I was Until now. A gaping hole Within my heart Large enough To swallow me Whole Leaving no trace Of my existence. Which you help me In the healing Of this emotional absence Long part of my spirit Allowing me To start loving myself Instead of hating. © 2015 therisa |
