The Hungry Beast

The Hungry Beast

A Poem by therisa

I feel you
Fast approaching me
Thinking I am unaware
Of your  presence
Stalking me.

Like a hungry Leopard
Upon the scent
Of a wary Wildebeest
Who knows you
Are there.

Waiting patiently
For that
One chance opening
To present itself
Before you pounce.

As my arms start
To tremble violently
A forewarning
Of your coming attack
Upon my body.

Ensnaring my body
With your powerful moves
Catching me
Unaware of that last
Burst of speed.

As I curl up
In defense of myself

As another wave of anxiety
Washes over my body
Leaving me helpless.

My prostrated body lays
Before your hungry body
Toying with me
Deciding where to deliver
Your killing blow.

Wow....sexually charged to say the least.

My only criticism would be spelling and only because I am an editor by trade. Clean it up but it is absolutely perfect otherwise.

Great write!
