What May FlowA Chapter by therisa
In front of me
Stands a blank computer screen Eagerly awaiting my wordsmith’s touch Yet nothing comes forth Except white static From my brain. Type you see On a TV Hooked up to rabbit ears Signal fading In and out. Only a few moments ago My brain was filled With so many wonderful And unique thoughts. Gone No one knows where For sure. Perhaps A lesson to me Not to take This gift for granted Like I’ve done so In past. Rather Let the words Flow on their own A mighty river unleashed From the restrictive barrier Of dam Which my mind Has become. Enjoying Whatever comes forth As a cherished present Given to me To share with others Of my inner spirit. © 2015 therisaAuthor's Note
