Push

Push

A Chapter by therisa
"

Sigh.

"
An internal sigh
Held within
As darkness claims me
For another day.

Wiping away
Blood red tears
From my eyes.

Holding a small box
Containing
My fractured heart
In cupped hands.

As my body
Slumps
To the floor
With an audible thud.

Seeking release
From what
Can never be.

Only knowing
I can't live
Like this
Forever.
