What The Bleep?
A Chapter by therisa
Latest twist, in the Dalhousie Dental School scandal.
Why do Some men feel This need To act So misogynistic.
Thinking They wouldn't be Dealt any penalty For their degrading Facebook page.
When faced With the reality Of a successful woman?
Are they So insecure About their manhood To do this?
Empowering themselves By degrading women As nothing more Than throwaway sexual objects To relieve themselves Of their daily frustrations.
Any wonder Why people dread An appointment With their dentist.
Where violence is Their sole response To any problem That vexes them.

Therisa, you poem asks some very good questions which unfortunately I have no answers for. I always believe that all women should be treated with courtesy. That they are for the most part divine creatures and not to mention they are human beings and deserve to be treated nice as do most people. But.................that is me, there are many who do not see things the way I do and degrading women, actually degrading all people truly is a tool used to make them feel better about themselves. Don't ask me why...I don't know. It's so easy to be nice...but I guess to some it is easier to be mean.

Having experienced, first hand violence, from a dentist, who took his anger out on me, for refusing him, access to inject me, with a needle, while working on my teeth, when I was 7. Never told anyone about it, until last year, when I shared this, with my current dentist.
Think some people, get a power rush, from being cruel to other people. And yet, they are held up, as role models, to follow.
