May Peace Find YouA Chapter by therisaPlease pardon me As I wipe away These tears Of anger sorrow And frustration From my face. Knowing For many people You don't understand Why I'm grieving Over a lost teenage girl In Ohio. Which The world viewed As being transgender. But To me She'll always be A girl. In spirit If not In body. We didn't choose To be born This way It just happened. As everyone assaults Leelah's parents For their religious beliefs. Please remember They're burying a child Who died So tragically. Personally I find their beliefs To be utterly repugnant And barbaric Without any quality Of redemption. Only wish There wasn't Anymore parents Like the Alcorns. But I know They do exist Just under the radar. Fare thee well Leelah Alcorn My heart goes out To you. © 2015 therisaAuthor's NoteReviews
